Another delay

IRL work and occassions are piling up (everyone gets married this time of year yikes), so I'm going to put this comic on hiatus for the next two weeks. Updates will resume the 14th of August. Sorry for the short notice.

As of the prologue, "Rock Otter" has acquired 25 favorites and over 100 visitors. I know those numbers aren't huge, but they mean a lot to me as someone who creates comics in her free time. It's a personal hobby (seriously doubt my art will ever go anywhere), so I appreciate every view, comment, rating, and fave :) If you're reading this news post, I'm glad you're enjoying my comic. I hope you enjoy the first real chapter as well.

Obligatory Hiatus Post

That was quick. Finals are murdering me left and right. For sanity's sake, posts will resume on May 14th. This is disappointing, because I had originally hoped to start the first chapter on the 14th, but these things happen. The comic will be all the better for it :)

Wow, this week was busy. I'm still hoping for a weekend update, but there will be no new page for Friday 04-23. I'll be running around too much this weekend.

Back from Hiatus

04-16-10 and we're back on schedule, updating once a week.

Unfortunately, finals are in less than a month, so if I suspect that I'll be too busy to work on comics again, I'll post a warning in advance and an extra. If finals do get overwhelming, however, it will only be for a week.
I also intend to be out of town for the last weekend of May, so I may or may not postpone updates that day also.

Thanks for your patience, and until my next hiatus, I hope you enjoy the comic :)

New Pages Postponed Until 04-16-10

That's right. From now until April 16, 2010, there will be no new pages of "Rock Otter." I'm going to be very busy the following three weeks, and I want to preserve my buffer by not updating (since I won't have time to work on other pages). I apologize for the delay. I'll try to post one or two extras before the 16th, but I'm taking a trip where I won't have my computer or reliable internet. (That is, there is surely reliable internet where I'll be, but I'll be too busy to try to access it.)

See you on the 16th, hopefully sooner.

First page launched

"Rock Otter" is rolling! To avoid depleting my buffer this semester, I will only update once a week, on Friday, so check back every now and then for new pages.

The site'll be getting a premium account within the next week too, so watch for higher res pages. The site layout itself may take awhile, as I have no web design knowledge whatsoever, so bear with the Kermit look in the meanwhile.
